1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using CoachDesk ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users including coaching institute owners and teachers.
2. Description of Service
CoachDesk is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform for coaching institutes to manage students, attendance, fees, and parent communications. The Service is provided by CoachDesk, based in Dewas, Madhya Pradesh, India.
3. Account Responsibilities
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You must not share your login credentials with unauthorized persons.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must provide accurate information during registration.
- One account per coaching institute — multi-account abuse is prohibited.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use CoachDesk to:
- Send spam, unsolicited, or misleading messages to parents or students.
- Store or transmit illegal content.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or disrupt the Service.
- Use the platform for any purpose other than managing your coaching institute.
5. WhatsApp Messaging
CoachDesk sends WhatsApp messages to parents on behalf of your institute via the Meta WhatsApp Cloud API. By using this feature, you confirm that you have obtained appropriate consent from parents to receive such messages. CoachDesk is not responsible for message delivery failures caused by Meta's infrastructure or policy changes. WhatsApp conversation costs (if applicable) are billed by Meta directly and are not included in CoachDesk subscription fees.
6. Data Ownership
You retain full ownership of all data you enter into CoachDesk (student data, attendance records, fee records, etc.). CoachDesk does not claim ownership of your data. Upon account termination, you may request an export of your data within 30 days.
7. Subscription and Payments
- Free trial is available for 14 days with limited features.
- Paid plans are billed monthly. Pricing is available at coachdesk.co.in.
- Plan upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.
- We do not offer refunds for partial months of service.
- CoachDesk reserves the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.
8. Service Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. CoachDesk is not liable for losses arising from service interruptions.
9. Termination
You may cancel your account at any time by contacting us. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days before permanent deletion.
10. Limitation of Liability
CoachDesk is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CoachDesk shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 3 months prior to the claim.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Dewas, Madhya Pradesh, India.
