CoachDesk ("we", "our", "us") is a coaching institute management software developed and operated by CoachDesk, based in Dewas, Madhya Pradesh, India. Our platform is accessible at coachdesk.co.in.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account information: Name, email address, phone number, and institute details provided during registration.
• Student data: Student names, parent contact information, batch details, attendance records, and fee information — entered by institute owners.
• Usage data: Pages visited, actions performed within the app, and device/browser information for improving our service.
• Communication data: WhatsApp message logs sent through our platform to parents of students.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the CoachDesk platform.
• To send transactional emails (OTP verification, teacher invites, welcome emails).
• To send WhatsApp notifications to parents on behalf of coaching institutes.
• To improve and develop our services.
• To respond to support requests.

4. Data Storage and Security

All data is stored securely on Supabase (PostgreSQL), hosted on AWS infrastructure. We enforce Row Level Security (RLS) to ensure each institute can only access its own data. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. All communication between your browser and our servers is encrypted via HTTPS.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data to any third party. We share data only with:

• Supabase: Database and authentication infrastructure.
• Meta (WhatsApp Cloud API): To deliver WhatsApp messages to parents.
• Resend: To deliver transactional emails.
• Vercel: Hosting and deployment infrastructure.

6. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at hello@coachdesk.co.in. Institute owners are responsible for managing student and parent data within their account in compliance with applicable laws.

7. Cookies

We use session cookies to maintain your login state. No third-party advertising cookies are used. You may disable cookies in your browser, but this will prevent you from logging in to CoachDesk.

8. Children's Privacy

CoachDesk is intended for use by coaching institute owners and teachers. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Student data entered into the platform is the responsibility of the institute owner.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users via email for any material changes. Continued use of CoachDesk after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
